Aquasaurs (or Triops Longicaudatus to give them their proper name) have existed for more than 350 million yearsmaking them even older than dinosaurs! They have survived the ice-age, the stone-age and almost every other age for that matter! There have sure been a lot of 'ages' in the last 350 million years!
Aquasaur eggs can lie dormant for up to 25 years and scientists believe this may be the secret to their survival!
